On zoning . . .
Members of the PRHHA Board of Directors regularly patrol the neighborhood to keep an eye out for issues of concern to the neighborhood. They also take appropriate steps to notify the neighborhood if they receive notice from the City regarding zoning changes, etc.

Dallas Housing Authority Plans 40 Town Homes at Hillcrest and Bush Turnpike
The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has cleared the way for construction of 40 town homes near the intersection of Hillcrest Road and the President George Bush Turnpike. The court upheld a ruling by U.S. District Judge Jerry Buchmeyer that the site owned by the Housing Authority of the City of Dallas (DHA) represented “an ideal location for public housing,” and that race did not play a factor in the selection of the site. The district court found no constitutional violation and permitted the construction to go forward.
